These terms set out the rules for using the MoboSale website and buying from us. By placing an order, you agree to them. We've kept them clear and fair, because buying refurbished should feel simple and safe. Questions? Email hello@mobosale.com.
About MoboSale
MoboSale is a UK-based retailer of refurbished smartphones. Every device we sell is carefully checked, cleaned, and tested before it reaches you, and graded honestly so you know exactly what to expect.
These terms apply to your use of our website and any order you place with us. Please read them before you buy.
Using our site
You're welcome to browse and shop on MoboSale, as long as you use the site lawfully and don't misuse it, for example by trying to disrupt it or copy our content without permission.
To place an order, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The content on our site is provided for your information and may be updated at any time.
Orders & pricing
When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. This is an acknowledgement, not acceptance. Your contract with us is formed only when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies. We work hard to keep our pricing and product details accurate. If we spot a genuine error in the price or description of an item you've ordered, we'll contact you to confirm whether you'd like to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.
Because our stock is refurbished, quantities can be limited. If an item sells out or becomes unavailable after you order, we'll let you know and offer you a full refund.
Payment
You can pay using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken securely through our payment provider, and we don't store your full card details.
Your order will be processed once payment is authorised. If a payment fails or is declined, we may be unable to fulfil your order.
Delivery
We deliver to addresses within the UK. Orders are normally dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, and typically arrive within 3 to 5 working days. You'll get tracking by email once your phone is on its way.
Delivery timescales are estimates and can occasionally be affected by things outside our control, such as courier delays. If your order hasn't arrived when expected, get in touch and we'll chase it up.
Your right to cancel
If you change your mind, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. We go further and give you 30 days to return an item, as set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
To cancel, just email hello@mobosale.com and return the phone to us in the same condition you received it. Full details, including how to return and when you'll be refunded, are in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Faulty goods & your 12-month guarantee
Every phone we sell comes with a 12-month guarantee covering faults that aren't caused by accidental damage or normal wear.
Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 also apply: goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If something isn't right, contact us and we'll repair, replace, or refund the phone. Full detail is in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Our liability
We take great care to describe and check every phone accurately, but we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
